FAST FACTS regarding Facilities Engineering and Planning

We are a comprehensive maintenance, project management, and utility operation that encompasses three general ares of service to the Rice Campus:

The fastest and easiest way to access these services is through the FE&P Facilities Service Center at extension x2485 or by submitting a Work Request online. The Facilities Service Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm for routine work. The Central Plant is staffed 24/7 for utility services, and our technicians can call out emergency support  around-the-clock. Call x4095 for support ater 5:00 pm and on weekends.

Our  Department Coordinators have a wealth of knowledge, and are also available to assist you. 

The office, shop spaces, and utility plant for FE&P are housed in four primary buildings on the northern edge of the Rice campus. The main office area is located in the Facilities Engineering and Planning Administration building at Entrance 22 on Rice Boulevard.  More information on location and parking are available on our  Location Information page.
