Campus tours:Â Tours are offered twice monthly, every second and fourth Friday. Tours are given in the afternoon from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm during the months from November to April. These tours highlight the most recently completed construction projects on campus.
LEED tours: Tours of the LEED-certified buildings on campus are available upon request.
Project tours:Â These tours are given to groups affiliated with the university and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Participants are required to come dressed appropriately; hard-sole, closed-toe shoes, long pants and long-sleeve shirts must be worn. Hard hats, safety vests, and glasses will be provided for tour participants.
Facilities Engineering and Planning tours:Â These tours offer a unique view into the hard work and efforts of the men and women working in the department. These tours are offered once a month to Rice students, faculty and staff.Â
Steam tunnel tours:Â Tour participants will have the opportunity to visit the steam tunnels below the university. These tours are offered upon request and are limited to groups of 15 people at a time.
Craft and Maintenance Shop tours: Tour participants will have the opportunity see what happens behind the scenes in the craft and maintenance shops. These tours are offered on request.
