Kathy graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors of Architecture and joined Rice in May of 2006. She assumed leadership of FE&P in 2015. Her expertise includes both architecture and construction management. Kathy is a member of the American Institute for Architects (AIA), the AIA Houston chapter and the Texas Society of Architects.

David began his journey at Rice as a B.A. and Bachelor of Architecture graduate in 1978 and 1980 respectively. He eventually returned to Rice in 1999 as a Senior Project Manager. Today, David is the University Architect and specializes in campus planning, along with facility and landscape design, and is a Registered Architect in the state of Texas.
Executive Director for Space Management

Pat earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston and has been with Rice University since 2000. As the Executive Director for Space Management, Pat works with the Vice President of Administration to ensure appropriate allocation, utilization, and documentation for campus space resources. Pat is also a Registered Architect in the state of Texas.
Director of the Administrative Center for Sustainability and Energy Management

Richard earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Rice University and his Masters in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. He joined Rice in 2004 as a Campus Sustainability Planner. Today, Richard is the Director of the Administrative Center for Sustainability and Energy Management where he focuses on campus sustainability initiatives such as "green" building and energy conservation.

Keith earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and his Masters in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Pennsylvania State University. Afterwards, he served in the U.S. Navy, Civil Engineering Corps for 25 years. Keith joined Rice in 2018 as the Director for Project Management where he oversees major construction projects on campus.
Director for Project Planning

Ana has worked at Rice since 1992 after earning her B.E.D. at Texas A&M University. As the Director for Project Planning, Ana currently manages the Annual Capital Budget Process and oversees the financial management for all capital projects. She is both a Registered Architect and a Registered Interior Designer in Texas.
Director of Plant Operations and University Engineer

Hugh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and has been with Rice for over 25 years. As Director of plant operations, Hugh manages the daily operations of the Central and South Plants, optimizes steam and chilled water production, and assists with solving building infrastructure problems. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

Jane has been with Rice University and the Facilities Engineering and Planning department for over 24 years and earned her Accounting Degree at Mississippi State University. As Director of Financial and Business Services, Jane specializes in budget and financial system management, analyzing financial data, auditing, and office administrative management.
Assistant Vice President for Facilities

Bart Salmon earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master's in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. He has been with Rice since 2016 as the Assistant Vice President for Facilities, bringing over a decade of facility management experience. In this role, Bart directs all facilities, custodial and grounds services at FE&P.
Director of Business Process

Loranda Williams-Iverson has over 30 years of experience in customer service and facilities maintenance databases. Loranda came to Rice in 2000 and aided in the implementation of the Financial Accounting and Management Information System (FAMIS) including the development of the FAMISWEB system the campus now uses for work orders. As the Director of Business Process, which is made up of the Facilities Service Center (FSC) and Materials Support Shop (MSS), she manages FSC coordinators, MSS Warehouse staff and oversees the adminstration of the FAMIS system.
Director of Facilities Business Analytics

Terie has an MBA degree from Texas Women’s University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has been with Rice for over two years as the Director of Facilities Business Analytics.Terie has extensive experience with Business Analytics working in academic environments to implement data warehouse solutions including finance, clinical and research data. In her role, she focuses on data and software technology management.
Administrative Operations Manager, Human Resources Liaison

Becky earned her degree at San Jacinto College and has been at Rice for 13 years. She currently serves as the Administrative Operations Manager and Human Resources for FE&P. She manages all B2 payroll for the department in addition to assisting with the Buildings and Grounds Board meetings at Facilities Engineering and Planning.
