Utility work and material deliveries for the Ralph S. O’Connor Building for Engineering and Science are scheduled to begin Saturday, October 29. This will impact vehicular and pedestrian traffic near Duncan Hall and the North Colleges.
The permanent sidewalk between Duncan Hall and the new building closest to McMurtry College will be closed. A temporary sidewalk next to it will be installed to continue providing access from the Engineering Quad to the North Colleges. Pedestrians are encouraged to find alternate routes when access through this area.
A temporary crane will be on-site to lift material onto the roof of the O’Connor Building. This will occur on Saturday, October 29, beginning at 6:00 am and complete by 8:00 pm. North College Lot Road will be condensed to a single lane around the crane. A flag person will be on-site to assist with traffic and emergency access.
