Academic and Rice Public Art Liaison

Eleni Barzouka earned a 5-year Professional degree in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece and a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Rice University. She began working for FE&P in 1999 and has served as the project manager for the Keck Hall renovation, the McNair Hall design and construction, BRC Tenant Improvements, and the Suzanne Deal Booth James Turrell Twilight Epiphany Skyspace. She is a Registered Architect in Texas and a LEED Accredited Professional.


Administration Liaison

Tina earned her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Houston and has been with Facilities Engineering and Planning since 2000. As the Administration Liaison, Tina coordinates and manages the university’s program to improve campus accessibility as it relates to the physical environment. She is a Registered Architect in Texas and a LEED Accredited Professional.


Athletics and Information Technology Liaison

Larry earned his Bachelor of Science of Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and his MBA from the Jones Graduate School at Rice University. Prior to joining Rice in 2007, Larry served four years of active duty in the U.S. Navy, Civil Engineer Corp. He has served as the project manager for Brochstein Pavilion, the John and Anne Grove, the new wings of Baker and Will Rice Colleges and the Brian Patterson Sports Performance Center.


Fondren Library and Academic Building Facilities Liaison

Joe Hatfield has been with Rice for over 35 years where he initially started as Fondren Library's first building manager in 1984. Joe now serves as FE&P's academic building facilities liaison, overseeing Robert R. Herring Hall, Anderson Hall, Sewall Hall, Herzstein Hall, and Rayzor Hall. He is responsible for work order and special work request coordination, building inspections, and project management assistance in conjunction with Eleni Barzouka.


Housing and Dining Liaison

Anzilla Gilmore joined Rice FE&P in November of 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Prairie View A&M and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Registered Architect. Anzilla is a founding member of the Houston Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). At Rice, she serves as the project manager for all Housing and Dining projects and is also a Jones College Associate.


Natural Sciences, Engineering and Architecture Liaison

George Ristow holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree in Architecture from Yale University. He joined Rice in 2017 as assistant director for project management and is a Registered Architect in Texas. George is the project management liaison for the Wiess School of Natural Sciences, The George R. Brown School of Engineering and the Rice School of Architecture.


Wiess House and Presidential Events Liaison

LouAnn Holmes holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. She has been with Rice FE&P since 2000 and is the interior design specialist for the campus. She is in charge of interior design solutions in facilities across campus. LouAnn also enjoys volunteering at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.


Natural Sciences and Engineering Facilities Liaison

Israel Ramirez is a Mechanical Technician and Millwright. He joined Rice University in 2008 where he worked with Parking and Transportation. In 2013, he came to FE&P and joined the Plumbing, Exteriors and Mechanical shop. Israel now serves as FE&P's building facilities liason for Natural Science and Engineering. He oversees and is responsible for building work orders, special work request coordination, building inspections.
